Happy International Mother Language Day!

For International Mother Language Day, we wanted to celebrate the glory and diversity of human language. We asked you to record and send us videos saying a phrase that represents joy and laughter, but also, the frustration of trying to learn a new language. The only phrase we thought would fit the bill, naturally, was “My hovercraft is full of eels”. Here’s the video we created!

We want to thank all of 45 of you who sent in videos! The entire collection is available to view in Youtube. If you didn’t send one in time but would like your video to be added to the collection, send it to us at oliviaz@memrise.com
